Friendly, helpful gas station attendants that will pump your gas, check your oil and tire pressure, clean your windshield and give you a free glass with a fill-up. Flared pants, jeans or other, for boys instead of the baggy crap they wear now. The cheerful, happy sales clerk, that _dresses_ nicely. (Gads! Going into Walmart after midnight is like going into rag city! The employees mostly dress like bums.) Cheap gas! Cheap smokes! Skirts for women. Cars that do not all look the same. Coke in glass bottles that is cheap. ($9 for a 12 pack now is ridiculous)! Coke tastes best in glass. The return of Nehi soda in all of it’s marvelous flavors in GLASS. The big ol’ ice filled, galvanized soda coolers out in front of small stores where your hand goes numb as you dredge up a cold one from the very bottom in the melt water. Gas stations that look different from each other. ROCK AND ROLL, baby!! ---

In fact, kids have been getting beat up and teased since the beginning of public school. It’s a sad fact of life, but it happens. The school shootings are a recent (and very disturbing…that’s not even a strong enough word) trend. Fighting and teasing is age old. I think that’s what the original poster was trying to say. But that’s just MHO. ---
