“ON FLEEK” meaning perfect, perfectly groomed. My vision is obscured by a billowing red cloud of hate when I hear, for example, that idiot on Fashion Police say, ‘she was definitely on fleek last night’. I understand it is rapidly falling out of favor with the in crowd, thank god. ---

I actually like “low-hanging fruit.” Perhaps it’s getting overused, but it’s vivid, funny, and fits a real need. I doubt we’ll associate it with any particular decade, just as “barking up the wrong tree” is a perennially useful phrase. ---
