Trickle charging a battery

I contacted the generator manufacturer and they told me that the voltage output is normal :dubious: From what I know automotive batteries at 12.6 Volts are in need of recharging and when fully charged the voltage is 12.8

I keep this thread in my bookmarks. Lots of good car battery info given by Rick. He agrees with the generator manufacturer you contacted that a battery reading 12.6V is not in need of a recharge.

If the battery is fully charged you should have 12.6V or above
