# Trident Wrappers

I’m sure we’ve all heard the rumor that the wrappers on the gum brand Trident were made to be eaten with the gum…can anyone disprove that?..please?

Actually, I’ve never heard that before in my life. It sounds weird…I mean, it’s paper, who wants to eat paper?

My nephew just asked me about this. I thought he was crackers, and then he went ahead and did it, and said, “See? I told you you can chew the wrapper.” I still think he’s crackers.

That’s not how I heard it.

It’s not trident. It’s the “\_\_\_\_\_\_\__a_burst” gums: Cin_a_burst, Mint_a_burst, and the like. It’s actually not half bad still in the wax paper wrapper, but then again, it’s not half good either.

And you freaks actually eat your gum? :eek: I always chew mine and then at some point later spit it out. :rolleyes:

I was one of the people who did this…If a mellow, smooth tasting gum is your thing, by all means try it.
