Nice.

Tree climbers are some people who use the Michacan friction hitch, a special type of knot, that allows one to tie onto a main rope and move up and down that rope in a controlled manner. The Michoacan friction hitch can be slid up or down the main rope, but if the climber were to fall, the Michoacan friction hitch would grab the main rope and hold.

The “face hugger” in the _Alien_ series of movies is the he second stage in the Alien’s life cycle. It has eight long, finger-like legs, which allow it to crawl rapidly, and a long tail adapted for making great leaps. its only purpose is to make contact with the host’s mouth for the implantation process, by gripping its legs around the victim’s head and wrapping its tail around the host’s neck.

A cephalophore (Greek for “head carrier”) is a saint generally depicted in art as carrying his own head. This depiction is usually for a martyr killed by beheading. Saint Denis is a cephalophore who was martyred by beheading in the 3rd century AD. Denis is said to have picked up his head from the ground after being decapitated and walked over 5 miles, all while preaching from his carried head.

A ‘mountain of the martyr’ in Paris is named after Saint Denis who was decapitated on the top of the mountain. This mount has been gallicized as Montmartre. Saint Denis is the patron saint of the Kingdom of France.
