I went with Maine, though I wasn’t 100% sure. Checking a map afterwards, I _still_ couldn’t tell! (Though I was glad to see Maine was at least one of the top 3.) Eh, geography isn’t really my strong suit. ---

**MOL** , you’re thinking about: a small portion of Ontario that falls south of the easternmost-part of Michigan, in the Port Huron/Detroit area - Windsor is one of the cities south of (most of) Michigan. ---

Some day, when I’m retired, I’m going to visit the Northwest Angle, just because it’s there and it looks cool on a map. I don’t know what I’ll do there, since I don’t fish. If the Angle didn’t exist, it would have to be invented. It wouldn’t do to have a 5-way tie for northernmost (of the 48) state. ---

I got the impression from her that most of the people who actually have residences there are motivated by fishing and water sports, especially in the summer. You keep a boat in Young’s Bay and go all around Lake o’ th’ Woods in a fisherman’s paradise. I think most of the place is an Indian reservation.
