One or two may be just a little bit (not dreadfully) obscure, but most are certainly quite well known songs. (Apologies to you if you answered one of these already and I missed it.) Why does Plastic Nancy (she’s real fancy) buy toys for her children? What should you do if you are glad to be gay? If you are only 29, what do you have to learn? Why do I need to straighten my face? Where do the Cuban gentlemen sleep all day? What did Madam George have to remind you about? How long (at the least) has it been since it last snowed in San Anselmo? Do you recall a girl who’s been in nearly every song?\* What is her name, and what rumor about her am I asking you not to spread? - Actually just one other, so far as I am aware, so no, it isn’t Patty Boyd-Harrison-Clapton! She has a house and garden. She lingers long there. On what street does she live? (And how well do I think I like it, so far?) If I fill my head with glue I will never get to heaven, but what letter and what number will it be? ---
