Okay, I googled it, so I won’t say here what answer I found (if any). I’m not even sure I found it. I found at least SIX different songs that mention “terrible mess” and only one of those mentioned anything about a “fool”, and I didn’t see any clear-cut answer to how long he’ll wait, although it does say where he’s waiting, and how long he’ll keep running. ---

For a long time I thought it was a fool waiting on the wrong blonde, which didn’t make much sense. Didn’t understand why he was running after her if she was the wrong blonde. As soon as I figured out it was “wrong block” it suddenly all made sense. ---

Now I’ll have to google it again to find the part about the ten minutes – I missed that before. In any case, obviously, this isn’t a song that I know. Now this: They looked like flows of angel hair, or even maybe like feathered canyons. (So beautiful!) (a) What are they? (b) And, in contrast to being beautiful, what do they do now? Did anyone figure out yet what the youngest brother went to do for a living, for to maintain his two brothers and he? (Hint: Joan Baez, although I think it’s a traditional folk ballad.) ---
