You’re right about Robert Duncan McNeil (Paris), Tuco. The funny thing is is that he got his job on Voyager because the producers wanted someone that reminded them of the cadet and it finally dawned on them to just _get_ the same actor. By the way, NCB… what I was asking you is that if the props were real salt shakers, just really funky ones like a novelty set or something… not if they were used as salt shakers anyway. ---

My fault. I said they designed for that ep. They were _gathered_ for that ep. But, they were customized into something else, so I’m left wondering, too. I mean, how futuristic could they have possibly been? I think if someone had said “Pass the salt,” and one of these was handed over, we would view them as a saltshaker. We know now they are med scanners, but if Bones wasn’t using them, say it was Sulu or Riley, would we have inferred they were med instruments? So many questions. “Questions. Answers. Incept dates. Longevity projections.” (Ooops. That wasn’t a Trek quote, now was it?) ---

I’ve got my choice of either a chess tourney, or one of my ex girlfriends’ wedding shower. Not a personal shower. The kind of combined thingy for the couple that they do around here in the heartland. Which one should I do? They are both on the same day. I thought about losing early at the tourney, might not be by my choice (!), and then crashing the shower late, just in time to get in on a hearts game and see what liquor is left. Or, I might just fly out to San Diego and see the Sea World hydrofoil. They still running that? Okay, so I won’t be flying to San D. Still, what about the boat? Huh? ---

I’ve come across several in my years as a Trekkie, then Trekker. If you find it, post it. I’m gonna try to get back to some trivia here, but I’ll have to do it a bit later. Got a call to go look at a house and I think I probably should, what with stuff being a little slow around here. Seems to be slowly picking up, though, so that’s good. See ya 'round the galaxy. ---
