In 1974, Nixon and Ford were both President … and, during Nixon’s most incontinent phase, Alexander Haig was “essentially seen as the acting president.” 😛

I think I’ve answered this one for you before, years ago: Quatermass and the Pit, and 2001.

George Hamilton and Frank Langella. Interesting.

I thought I asked this one, but I can’t find it on a search through the thread.

“1984 movie in which the heroine, played by Kate Capshaw, watches the villain reach into a victim’s chest with his bare hand and tear out his heart. The victim doesn’t die immediately.”

1940s movie by a Poverty Row studio starring one of Universal’s horror stars (obviously slumming) as a scientist trying to find a cure for polio who sneaks through the night looking like a gorilla so that he can kill people for their spinal fluid, which he needs for his research.
Actually, I’m kind of surprised that that description even matches _one_ movie, let alone two.

There’s a number of times different studios made very similar movies at the same time. Wikipedia has a longish list of them somewhere. Example:

What late 1990’s movie was a biopic about Steve Prefontaine?

That could be rephrased better, of course. Point being, there are two Brian Mays.

I thought of a trivia question that has only one answer, but it was inspired by this thread. I’ll explain after someone gets the answer.
Who comes next in the following sequence:

1. John Vernon
2. Bradford Dillman
3. John Mitchum
4. Albert Popwell
5. ?

It does have to do with the Dirty Harry films, but they were not Eastwood’s bosses or partners.
