You got it. England didn’t switch to the Gregorian Calendar until 1752.

> It actually applies to two different countries, but you can get the singular one you desire by simply stating “in the same war” or “in separate wars”

The “same war” one was easy, the “separate war” was hard since you can eliminate Western Europe since they haven’t had a war in their own country since WW2, and can eliminate the rest of Europe since they’ve never been hit by ballistic missiles.

Which leaves the Middle East and I couldn’t think of a capital that had been hit by both until I researched the common type of ballistic missile in the area and learned who had them and used them.

> So there are (at least) _three_ answers. You can quibble whether Greenland (Den.) is the country of Greenland or the country of Denmark, but it must be one or the other.

If you go with just “north of the United States”, you could add a fourth country, Russia, which is directly north of the Aleutian Islands.

And if you want to go with “north of United States territory” you can add the United Kingdom. The British Virgin Islands are directly north of the American Virgin Islands.

Julian vs. Gregorian calendars? Not sure which date these are in in the first place though.
