I think the question meant two countries named for the same river, which I believe you answered correctly with Nigeria/Niger and the 2 Congos. They’re a re other countries named after rivers, but they are unique country/river combos.

As far as I know, that only has one answer, the US. What’s the other country with a land border? Two additional countries have maritime borders with Canada.
I expect the reference is to Hans Island, whose ownership is disputed between Canada and Denmark (for Greenland). There’s no agreed upon border on the island, so it really doesn’t count.
