Yesterday I cleaned a massive spiderweb out from between two windows. I drowned the spider with vinegar and water first and when it stopped thrashing around in its death throes I wiped it and its prey out of the window. Seriously squicked me out. ---

I would like to state that we got a new kitty. My mom rescued her at about 2 or 3 days from her neighborhood and she is now about 7 weeks old. She is a tabby and is possibly long haired, a bit hard to tell at this fuzz ball stage. The little furball was driving my 80 year old mother bonkers ( she couldn’t get any painting done. Jeezus mom, it’s only 3 #.) and we took her off her hands. This kitty is the best entertainment the kids have ever had. Except it attacks toes. After two days of rather intense negotiations, she has been rechristened " Lilly" ---

I taught a class on storage to a group of seriously unintersted women. I taught a coworker how to mix paint. I paid 5 weeks of rent for myself and someone else’s car insurance. ---

I finally finished memorizing pi to 1000 places. And this time, I’m going to focus on keeping what I have instead of pressing on, getting more, and then getting fed up with it. (I will not post any of it here :cue sighs of relief:) Haah! Bet nobody else can say that, even given how geeky the Dope is! ---

Hmmm… I had a lot of these moments this week. I had my now EX-boss throw a 12 pack of sodas at me when I told her I was quitting. Walked out on my job. But on the more pleasant side… I got MULTIPLE hugs from Ace Young of American Idol fame… and also had him demonstrate ‘muscle isolation’ and belly dancing-type moves to our little group. 😃 Shared a grape Tootsie Roll pop with my cat Charlie. ---

I bought a pair of $19.00 ebony knitting needles (size 5!), one of which was stepped on by my Jasper dog and broken less than 4 hours later. ☹ I started designing a lace scarf with hearts and pawprints on it. I may use it to strangle my Jasper dog.\* \*Just kidding, mostly. ---
