There is no in-group. People don’t like you and it’s not because of your bizarre conspiracy theory. It’s because you’re a hypocritical whiner who makes every thread about himself. **BigT** it would have been fine to leave it at “Calm Down”. I laughed. 🙂 Your longer analysis is correct too. If BigT does have an ASD diagnosis it’s not fair to make fun of him for that and if he doesn’t you’re not qualified to diagnose him. Second I’ve never said a word about my political leanings and I haven’t had one single person try to force me into any kind of belief or ridicule me. The ones who get ridiculed seem to be the same handful of people over and over again who keep going into threads to stir up shit. ---

All sorts of insults are slung about that target immutable characteristics. Calling someone dumb, or stupid, or anything that references their genetics is targeting something outside of that person’s control. Even insulting people’s behavior is targeting something outside of that person’s control to a large degree. Yet it seems to make the majority in the pit feel better about their own lives. That’s actually sad. Anyways, my kids are older and have seen an actual PG movie now. All innocence has been lost. ---

Like actually explain how you’d feel if you heard your kids calling people retards or autistic in order to make them feel bad, and contrast that with hearing them use curse words. It is interesting to me that you sidestepped that entirely and tried to expand that to everything is immutable, even someone’s behavior is out of their control. It sounds as if you would be more comfortable with your kids insulting someone’s mental health, developmental delays, race, sex, or similar than you would be hearing your child say fuck or shit. Or at least, only the foul language elicits a scolding. But feel free to call me a snowflake instead of answering.
