In the above cited anti-cat thread, In In the anti-cat thread, Rooves came up with: **thud muffin assmuffin mr. doo doo doo doo boy heresifart krisferthetroll** Is such manipulation of userids a no-no on the SDMB? (I recall something about it, but I have not found a cite.) Is such manipulation of a userid to accuse a person of being a troll a no-no? Inquiring minds et al. ---

I see it frequently, tho’ I’m not a personal fan of the practice. re: such manipulation to accuse a person of being a troll, I don’t believe that the admins have said anything **but** “don’t accuse other posters of being trolls”. w/o any descriptors (as in “don’t do it in French, don’t do it in pig latin, don’t do it in rhyme, rap, or by manipulation of userIds”) so I would presume that that answer would be “no, it’s not ok” but because of the troll accussation part, not because of the userid part. ---
