This is probably a stupid question but I have seen a lot of people here use the term Trolling or “he is a troll”. What is a troll? I assume by context that perhaps it is someone who has two usernames and is posting in one thread? Trolling has a totally different drug meaning where I am from so it caught my attention. Thank you in advance and I apologize for my ignorance. ---

A troll is someone who come to the boards to make a general nuisance of himself. Such as insulting people for no apparent reason, or asking questions purely for the purpose that they will cause trouble. ---

Correct me if I’m wrong, but there’s also **trawling** , which I have equated to posting just to get flamed or some other heated response. Maybe they’re the same thing. Maybe not. ---
