It was your job to keep those seats free of asses. You failed—willfully so. And you did it (or failed to do it) specifically because of the woman’s race, no less. If the word “coward” seems distasteful to you, I can think of another word perhaps more fitting for that. I mean, let’s be clear, there is something problematic in assuming a black woman is going to “play the race card,” no? Almost, like… stereotyping? Based on race? Like, you assumed that being as she was black and all, she would naturally refuse to respond to a polite request, but instead jump right to…? ---
