I couldn’t figure out what the point of the OP was supposed to be. That and the later posts, when taken as a whole, seem to be all over the place, just being argumentative for the sake of it. ---

Oh B S, the athlete was pissing up a rope about the anthem playing while she was on the podium. That’s it, she wasn’t making a show of solidarity, she was acting out a grievance against the organizers. ---

You do know she was sanctioned previously for protesting the anthem, and that all the competitors were told the anthem wasn’t going to be played, except once a day. Then she got up there, after some delay, and the anthem was played. She said it felt like a set up to see if she’d protest again and get in trouble. I don’t think it was, but I can see how she felt that way, and there are people just that petty who’d try to catch her out. ---
