Listen – strange bots lying in forums, distributing fortunes, is no basis for a system of moderation. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical auto-response. You can’t expect to wield supreme executive power just because some Panamanian scientist requested a quote. I mean, if I went around sayin’ I was a moderator just because some snarky ornithologist had lobbed an @-sign at me, they’d put me away! ---
