We used to have a thread about ‘regular’ Dopers who would occasionally go off the deep end, but I guess it got lost in the Board shift. This is more suited for that thread, but here goes:

Anyway, when I read the [following](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/the-american-coup-11-9-2020/925182/3019) in response to [this](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/the-american-coup-11-9-2020/925182/3010) and [this](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/the-american-coup-11-9-2020/925182/3018) I was like ‘WTF’, but when I saw it came from our staff ‘Republicans are fighting the coup, really guys!’ poster Deeg (who has spent the past month denying the obvious) I was like ‘lol’.
