A trainwreck, especially the “Help,help, I’m being oppressed” thread in ATMB, really over the top. I had hopes they would come back and apologise, but I guess the only way they will come back will be as a trock. If they was sincere, they must have been on something to act that stupid after all these years (15, not 25). The most exciting thread before was about a sprained thumb 🙄. ---

Same. We like you Beck. Now that we cleared up that issue with the goat. John Mace tried to run me off, but he did not succeed. I’ve learned so much here so I’m glad I got past his attempt to bully me. He was finally sort of kind to me after he saw I wasn’t going anywhere. He’s been gone a long time now. I do hope he’s doing ok. ---

Might be a record for a 3 hour period IIRC, the snopes boards had a rule that if you said you were leaving (the boards, not a particular thread; and without the caveat that you were just taking a temporary break) that was it: you were out. Effectively it was an automatically-granted request to be banned. Said rule would have to be really well publicized to be fair, of course. ---

I don’t see how that’s fair no matter how well it is publicized. I understand the appeal, and my petty vindictiveness would like it. But if someone has a bad day and later changes their mind, they should be allowed to do that.
