I had been following the thread in question (prior to going to bed) and yeah that was quite a post. Now, granted, having insane asylums with better oversight than the historical norm is arguably a good thing (to prevent the horrific abuses of the past), but lobotomy? Yeah, that’s flat out trolling. Although TBH, that thread is a trainwreck. The number of people that should be flagged for political jabs and the like in what is theoretically a breaking news thread… I just don’t have the energy. Some luckless mod is going to have to go in with both boots to bring order to it. ---

I wondered how that was political too. There’s another post about something political and it wasn’t modded. Do we need a admittedly diagnosed _person with homicidal thoughts_ posting here? First, if he really is, how interestingly ignorant. Second, if it’s a weird bragging thing, how interestingly stupid. I don’t necessarily want to hear their thoughts on anything. ---
