I think he said he doesn’t care about any other usages except that particular one, which everybody should respect because reasons. It’s wrong-headed but also pretty common linguistic nimbyism. ---

I see that **Jackson99** , until now known only for posting complete bullshit in a thread about transit and population density in Canadian cities – cities which he has clearly never visited and knows nothing about – has now taken to posting illiterate bullshit questions all over FQ, IMHO, GD, and elsewhere. I might not even care that much if he had not been such an ignorant asshole in the original thread, ignoring everyone who tried to set him straight. And I know I can sometimes be annoyingly pedantic about grammar, but come on – this fuckwit can’t string three words together to save his life. So far a lot of his garbage is just being ignored, and at least one thread in GD has already been shut down. I don’t think this is a return of **JimB** , but it’s a similar mentality. ---
