Since you’re talking about that thread, I have a bit of a message for someone “participating” in it. The\_Librarian: Those in glass houses should not throw stones. I’ve literally had you on my ignore list because you just like to randomly antagonize people. That is trolling. Being upset about a supposed liberal organization turning becoming a MAGA mouthpiece is not trolling. Just not liking a post or disagreeing with it does not make someone a troll. I thought they were being quite nasty for no reason I can figure out. They didn’t say what their opinion was on BigTs OP. Wasn’t sure who they were upset with. When directly ask, a foreign worded cryptic “why not both” seemed even more rude, again with no opinion or explanation. Simple confusion. Why? To be a smart ass? To just throw gas on the fire? Just because they’re having a bad day? Hatefulness? Who the hell knows? ---

The\_Librarian was a real ass in the Merrick Garland Pit thread, doubling down when wrong, just being a real shithead. But that’s not the same as being a troll. I don’t think they’re a troll, just a jerk. And being a jerk in the Pit is generally allowed. I can still dislike the poster though. ---

I distinguish between troll and trolling. My point was really that they’ve done things that could be labeled trolling, and thus shouldn’t be so quick to call other people trolls. And I wanted to say it not in my thread, and since you had brought up that one guy, I thought it made sense. But I do admit I was angry at them, and may not have been thinking my best. Maybe the other thread would have been better. ---

I get an interesting vibe from new poster **StillHereSicily** in the “How will the Republicans demonize Kamala Harris?” thread in P&E. Maybe it’s just that the first two words in the username scream “previously banned trock” to me. ---

To clarify, I have never heard of the song before, and I still haven’t taken the time to listen to it (really, not that interested). So I may be totally wrong about the reference (in fact, I probably am), I’m just offering a _potential_ explanation that doesn’t involve an obvious reference to being a sock. ---

It didn’t strike me as trock-y, just very passionate and perhaps not well organized. But, well, being able to identify the Pit, place a rant there, and their short read time outside those two threads… I worry. I’d actually worry more if they start with this, and then start pushing a more ‘natural living lifestyle’ or something similar, and then start trying to sell or advertise a product, such as a simple living book, or a link to their website/blog, or something _else_. Perhaps not corruptly from their POV, but against our intents _here_.
