He wasn’t on my radar either, but he drew so many warnings for insulting others and I’m not sure how many modnotes. They didn’t care to follow the rules or just couldn’t from what I could see. Seems they were on many Mods radar. ---

They did. They were on my radar, but I was surprised at how many violations there were when I dug into the record. We tried to guide their behavior in a more positive way over many years, but in the end, you can lead a horse to water… ---

3 days is pretty normal, it’s their first suspension. ETA: And it did go to the Modloop where I was verifying that a 3 day was the normal here and that I should issue said suspension. Any suspension over 1 day for not-new users is discussed in the modloop. When the crap happens on a weekend, that 1 day often gets an extra day or even 2 as it can take a bit to reach a consensus. Though this is usually for situation where the question is the length or suspension or is it time to ban. If the question is a short suspension or no suspension, generally keep to just the single one day suspension. ---

**wrenching\_spanners** got moderated a few days ago in a P&E thread for hijacking, and then argued the moderation. Subsequent to that, he posted in ATMB about how to be banned from a thread (though it seems like he meant “banned from a category/forum”), as he stated that he gets into trouble in P&E, but wants to be able to keep posting in FQ. He was, _as per his own request_, banned from P&E by the moderators an hour or two ago – a banning which was accompanied by a suggestion that he might consider muting the topic, to avoid temptation. He then made a post in the Omnibus Elections thread in P&E anyway, earning himself a warning for it. Wow. ---
