People don’t “just” come back from the brink. It takes a conscious effort by a lot of people, most of whom get glossed over by history writers. Just waiting around for it to happen like some magical wish fairy will show up is asinine. ---

I suggest get prepared. That means turn off the noise on the newschannels and get yourself protected, as best you can. Leave here if you must. Gather your resources. Talk to family and neighbors you can trust. Sitting on your hands complaining helps no one. ---

I didn’t say that. Protect your money. Keep some cash. Buy foods that are shelf stable. Hoard medicines you may need. Get vaccinated, while you can. Protect your location the best you can. Think of a safe second location. Pack a bug out bag. There are so many things you can do if you(general _you_) get out of the lazy boy and go do it. The news replays 50 times an hour. You won’t miss a big story. You’re gonna be so happy not looking at the talking heads. I’ll never forgive them for selling us a rotten egg. Saying and talking about Trump every minute of everyday was a criminal action. And its still happening. ---

I haven’t seen her be anything but stubbon and willfully blind. Somebody started a thread ‘Is it time to tone down the wokeness?’ She couldn’t define what wokeness was. She started a thread in (it was wither IMHO or MPSIMS) to define wokeness. She couldn’t do it their either, She is constantly railing about woke, leftist liberals and all the probleme they have caused. ---

For clarity, the offender who shit up the transgender thread is Aspidistra. The one currently shitting up ATMB is Demontree. Which troll are we talking about? (I know, why not both.) ETA: I know who LSLGuy is talking about, some of the other comments aren’t clear. ---

My judgement has been off lately. I’m sure you’ve noticed. That being said, I doubt very much is she doing this for attention. She is feeling attacked (she has not been attacked) and making arguments she genuinely feels are true and valid (they are neither). Obviously, her opinions will not be changed. However, I feel that other people reading the thread may think that DT is actually being attacked and need to be shown that her transphobia has no place here. ---

All true. But that point was well-made in the first half-dozen posts. One thing about her in specific is she will not stop defending herself no matter how long that takes. IOW, the sealioning will continue until the audience wanders away. Or better yet, pointedly turns its back. IMO It’s actually past time for the mods to pause or close that thread as having drifted well away from the bounds of ATMB. ---
