Yeah, I don’t know what to think about MWDG - sometimes (like that crazy elevator thread) they seem genuinely crazy, other times they seem like a troll, other times (like just now in the ATMB sex thread), they’re the sane one. Then again, that’s in relation to Beck posting some more of her patented slutshaming Karen shit, so anyone not actually dressed in buckled canvas couture would seem saner. ETA whoops, forgot atama apparently has me on ignore, but this is for the peanut gallery, anyway. ---

Dayum. If Discourse has the capability for site-specific badges, then we sure ought to create a Dope-specific troll-finder badge. But … To discourage the overeager, accusations of trolling that don’t pan out should result in revoking one count of their previous badge award(s). And some kind of counter-badge so if they get into negative counts we can still track them. ---

Obvious sock is obvious. Created in 2008 and posted once. Then dormant for 11 years, to post once more to necro a thread. Then dormant until yesterday, to post some controversial (and not controversial) stuff in various places. The most activity they’ve ever had. I’m thinking one of the malcontents recently banned decided to pull another out of a drawer. ---
