That looks pretty good to me, but both dark chocolate and marzipan are very polarizing dessert items. ---

Marzipan is fine, for edible sculpture, for a super-elaborate dessert like a wedding cake. But I’d never eat it just for its own sake. You know what goes really well with chocolate, though? More chocolate. ---

Aldi does (or did, I haven’t been there for years) a version with dark chocolate covered marzipan with small pineapple bits in it. Yum-tastic-amundo. 😋 ---
