Whew, thanks, @What_Exit and a thought that hit me as I was reading the sauerkraut responses: What about splitting all those posts off to a new thread in Cafe Society? Title it, oh, how about “Fun With Sauerkraut” maybe? Then this thread could get back (more or less) on track, while I could garner more suggestions for adventures in kraut cooking?
