A lone man stands in the middle of a quiet village, holding a leather-bound diary. He holds it in the crook of his arm. For a long time, now, the diary has been quite dear to him. He considers the events of the day. The hanging of **Dead Cat**. The brutal murder of \*\*snfaulkner \*\*in the middle of the night. He watches the huts for a long time, and then squints against the morning sunlight. Far in the distance, past the glittering waters of the pristine bay, he can just barely make out the sillohuete of a ship. He raises his eyebrows in silent, almost horrified anticipation. Little by little, moment by moment, that shape grows and becomes more defined. He stands very still indeed, and it is several hours before it becomes quiet apparent that the ship intends to come to the island itself. “Rescue,” he murmurs, barely daring to form the word. Clutching the diary that much closer, he takes his first step towards the bay. [spoiler]As **HookerChemical** leaves the ring of of huts for the last time, he fastidiously avoids looking down at the thing that was once **Biotop**. There is no entry in his diary about that final day, and it is likely there never will be. That, after all, is behind him. In the distance there is a ship, and on the beach there is a signal fire waiting to be lit. **Town victory**! Precambrianmollusc chose to throw rock for the wolves, and was beaten by HookerChemical’s paper. I will post spoilery stuff in the companion thread.[/spoiler] ---

Scum’s side? I talked too much and got vig-killed early. Mahaloth lost track of time and outed himself. SP had too many serious problems in real life, so didn’t participate as much as he would have otherwise. It’s all about Biotop this game. ---

This game is so much more stressful as Scum. All the frustration I was expressing was valid. I wanted to keep up the same level of play, but real life intervened over and over. ---

I wanted to present a case against Biotop so bad, but didn’t think I was in a position where I could strategically. I even had an uncited/no quotes version drafted up before thinking that it would only be harmful. ---
