I apologize if this has been covered, but I am having trouble searching. And that’s my question. I log in to search and after entering the search criteria I am sent back to the login page. Repeatedly.

I think this changed at the time of the modifications to search. Help, or I will be a laughingstock as I ask questions which have been asked many times before.

Thanks.

First question: Do you have the SDMB set to remember your password?

Second question: Do you have cookies enabled in your browser?

If the answer to either of these questions is “no”, then you can’t search, and you have to re-enter your password for every post.

That failing, third question: Do you use Opera? Opera users have reported having this problem, and nobody’s really sure why.

OK, thank you, **Chronos**. I will check these options; it’s probably a cookie issue.
