I loved when you had the webcam view of Eric from the POV of “The Authoritah” and you’re expecting him to start making up some bullshit Eric-style excuses and sucking up, and instead he launches into this complicated description of Carpathia and historical Sweden and the Wehrmacht, etc. ---

Funny enough the decision by The Authority/Nan illustrates why you don’t complain to your superiors at work about someone. Even if you’re 100% right, the problem is _you_ because you’re the one who brought the issue to them. ---

That’d be a good poll question, but personally I’d never want to be converted. I like the notion of immortality (though I suspect it would get old after a few centuries) but not of never seeing the sun again. A _Twilight_ vampire wouldn’t be as objectionable, while of the sentient vampires (which discounts those from _Salem’s Lot_ and other movies where they’re essentially zombies who drink blood) Anne Rice would be the worst (no sex and lots of whining cohorts). _Buffy_ is roughly on par with _True Blood_. ---

Well, I liked Lafayette and Jesus The Morning After, lounging around in girly robes, saying things like “if I wanted to get rid of you about now, I’d start saying things like ‘help me check my mattress for ticks’ :p”. I missed part of Russell’s TV rant. Am I to understand he’s angered at the human race because they’re destroying the planet? Does he want vampires to take over the world? Or what? ---

I think Russell (already planning something and insane with rage and grief over Talbot’s death) is intentionally starting a war whose goal is I think to subjugate rather than destroy humans. He wants to be king not of MS and LA but pretty much of the world- [a mad-scientist type plan](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cE1fzfOogo). ---

Trivia: Lauren Bowles who plays Holly is the younger half-sister of Julia Louis Dreyfus. _Seinfeld_ as vampires- now that would be an interesting show. They already have the detachment from humans down pat so I’m guessing they’d be more Russell and less Bill. ---

Both books 1 & 2 took place in the summer, but the 3rd book was set in December, so the timeline is compressed quite a bit from what I was imaging before the pregnancy thing made it clear that they’re not the same. I have no idea what the weather would look like in December there, so only the lack of Christmas decorations otherwise suggested “not December” to me. So, about Russell, what do you think he imagines the reaction from the other vampires (not the Authority, or other royalty, but regular vampires like Pam, Jessica, or the doubly late Eddie) to be? Yeah, let’s join this crazy fuck and overthrow the humans! Or, let’s kill this asshole who is trying to rock the boat for all of us who just want to fit in? I’m sure there are some vampires of the former, but I don’t see most of them going along with his nuttery. Loved the segue to the weather, though, no matter how mad his is:D ---

Andy got his cast in the middle of last season and it’s still on. There never seems to be a long passage of time between events. ---

The end of S2 picked up immediately from S1 and likewise for S2 and S3. So yeah, I’d say 2.5 months sounds about right. Which makes Sookie’s tearful “We’ll never have a life together” seem a little bit premature, really.
