Vamps aren’t telepathic, they just have extremely good hearing. Bill and Eric could talk extremely softly so the Queen couldn’t hear but they still could. ---

It’s not fair to judge based on watching just bits and pieces, but that’s what I’ve done with this week’s episode. I’ll be browsing channels and find it and watch for a minute, until someone does something stupid, and then I change the channel. So far I’ve seen Bill (“Billy?”) and Eric in a grade school pissing match over Sookie, Hoyt’s mother acting like a salacious loon, a police dispatcher making a pass at Andy, Jason and Andy loaded for bear, a queen vampire playing Yahtzee, Tara rushing off to save Lafayette (and Sookie letting her), and Sookie going into gran’s house alone. I can’t figure out a logical reason for any of it. It was so good last week! What happened? ---

Yeah, probably confused. I saw Sookie toss something at Tara’s mom and Tara running to the car. I DVR’d the episode. Guess I’ll watch, rather than ask why Tara’s mom had a gun on Lafayette and Sookie. 🙂 ---

I thought “playing Yahtzee” was just a silly childish expression for getting it on–but they actually did play Yahtzee! As for Maryanne, has it been revealed that the season finale will indeed be her swan song? After the last episode it hit me how ridiculous this “religion” is. The God Who Comes?! It sounds like something a four-year-old would dream up and for that reason is quite humorous in this context. I wonder if the end of Maryanne will come when the townspeople suddenly wake up to how inane this all is? Sort of like the way most of us come to realize that getting stupid stoned drunk isn’t cool, even though when we’re young it often seems like the cool people like to do exactly that. ---
