It’s halfway through season 3. At 12 episodes a season, that makes tonight’s episode (3.6) episode 30.
That said, unfortunately, I was out of the room during the credits, so I can’t say what the song was.

I’ve looked in the past, and they have not listed music credits. Gotta be someplace to look it up.
I just finished up S2 “on demand”, and caught up with S3 through last night. So, what are the guesses as to what kind of a creature Jason’s new lust-interest is?

Are we going to have this week’s show discussion in this thread? As good a place as any, I guess.
**Dinsdale** , I have a pretty good idea what Crystal is, but only because I read the books. Will share this info in a spoiler box on request. (It may have been spoilered in a previous episode thread too, but I can’t remember.)
I’m upset that Jesus and Lafayette are on the outs but hopefully they’ll make things up. I’m tired of only shitty things happening to Lafayette.
I cannot get enough of the King of Mississippi. More scenes with him and less with Jason Stackhouse or Sam’s crappy dog-fighting family. Good call to I think **Sampiro** who called that one in last week’s thread.
Also, I doubt we’ve seen the last of Franklin. Why didn’t Tara stake him?!? I’m pretty sure he can recover from having his head smashed like a pumpkin.

Yeah, that was a pretty impressive smashjob - but tellingly incomplete.
Lafayette and Jesus are so cute together - gotta wonder in what way Jesus is damaged…
Quite a teaser after that ep - surely more than can be dealt with next week!
Is anyone else bothered by how incredibly sloppy and wasteful the vamps are when they eat? Just seems at odds with their general fastidious nature.
Also, how does their blood work? Their hearts do not circulate it, and it does not appear to spurt when they are cut. I’m guessing it circulates through some not fully explained mystical inherent force…

I strongly agree with the general consensus that the Russell/Bill/Eric/Sookie storyline has been incredibly entertaining (mainly because of Russell), the Tara/Franklin storyline has been horrifyingly hilarious, and most of what’s been going on back in Bon Temps has been pretty forgettable.

Great acting this week by the actress who plays Lorena. And between her and Bill. I used to just want her gone off the show…but now i’m more interested in her character!

I’ll give you a hint: coming in second after “a horsie” it’s within the subset of creature that little girls commonly list as exotic pets they’d want. Though the most common type of that subset will be a different character a bit later on.

I like seeing Tara finally take complete control after having been controlled by others for so long. Great to see her hulk out like that, but I fear that simply bashing in Franklin’s skull isn’t going to be enough to kill him. He’s such a freak, though, that he might take it as some sort of endearing kink.
I had kind of wondered how Jesus would take it when he found out Lafayette was a V dealer, and I wasn’t surprised. I don’t think they’d set up the storline at all if that was just going to be the end of it.
The funniest part was when Jason was rousting the current, hot shot quarterback (i.e. what Jason was ten years ago).
QB1: I’m not doing anything you didn’t do.
Jason: Well, the difference between you and me is…[draws blank].

Best part of the episode was at the bar where Arlene nicks her finger… we laughed for 10 minutes at that scene.
I couldn;t belive that Tara actually done exactly what I was telling the tv to tell her to do - she’s clearly watched a few horror movies in her day.

Another hint:
The actress was doing a very fine job of emulating this creature with her physical movements at one point during the makeout scene in this episode.
