Did I pick the wrong to weekend to go away or what? 🙂 Well whenever any feamle instructor is taking a break from the orgy that isn’t happening, I could use some flirting instruction, RL, OL, all of the above situations. ---

Online, I can’t make the first flirt, or return the initial flirt skillfully. Once I get flirting with someone I usually do alright. ---

**Verrain** Ummm… but for the most part, flirting _ **is** _ sexual inuendo. For you an **Falcon** here’s my flirting starter kit, RL and OL. The basis for being a good flirt can come from two places. It can come from a strong sense of security in your own sexuality, and it can come from your insecurities. Both work, but the second type can come off a little desperate if you aren’t careful. Just starting to get your feel for flirting is best undertaken in as stress free an environment as possible. Do not start out trying to flirt with this attractive person you spotted whom it would be devistating if you flirted badly with. Join in a flirty thread, or online conversation and let your mind wander. Think about what excites you about them and compliment them on it. It doesn’t matter if it’s an obvious feature, if it’s something that genuinly excites you about them that should come through. See what sort of a response you get and take the next step from there. Go as fast or slow as you are comfortable with. Start there, and then we can go on to lesson two 🙂 Falcon, I’d be happy to be the object of your virual affections if you like 😉 Verrain, you might see if hardygrrl’s interested in some one on one instruction. -Doug ---

Ahhh… so we can skip lesson one then ::pout:: Well, for real life flirting, the best advice I have is to take it very slow. Luckily, you have a lot more avenues of communication to use. Eye Contact. It’s almost completely unthreatening, and if it doesn’t work, you lose the least amount of face. Smiling. Combined with eye contact, you’ve upped the ante and indicated that you’re not just staring at the piece of spinach they didn’t know was stuck between their teeth. If both of these get good response, you should feel enough added confidence to actually say something. Hide your insecurity in humor, or go straight to a compliment. And remind yourself… if you try and fail, you are still many steps ahead of not trying at all. If you hadn’t tried, there was absolutely zero chance somethign wonderful would happen. At least by trying, you allowed them the chance to discover what a wonderful person you really are. If they failed to realize it, then perhaps it just wasn’t ment to be? -Doug ---
