Pasta served with squid _in sue tinte_ is also _magnifico_! Just sauté the cooked macaroni in a little EVOO and chopped garlic before stirring in the seafood. ---

Mofongo is god’s gift. Yucca, potato, cassava, plantain–bring it on! I actually just planned a stop in Puerto Rico so I could have a mofongo lunch. YUM. ---

I think I mentioned elsewhere that I once brought a can of meatballs in gravy, made by a Danish company (Dak, I think), from a Russian kiosk on my way to work.
