Has anyone else noticed that he pretty much only looks at the side of the room that stands up and applauds all the time? ETA: And has anyone else noticed that he’s using a lot of “props”? ---

I am not a general Trump supporter by any means but I think he did a very good to great job. It won’t sell on the SDMB but I can promise you that it will sell well with the general American public. A lot of the ideas that he floated were liberal to flat-out progressive. We will have to see how that translates into action but it certainly wasn’t bad. However, it was clear that he wasn’t the person that wrote his speech (not that most Presidents do). He is just trying to be the populist that he is and let other people make the real decisions. ---
