Isn’t there some sort of Amendment that would prevent the government\* from doing this? Or are we not doing the Constitution anymore? \*… I would consider his words to meet this criterion, even if the platforms doing the banning are private companies. ---

The words by a sitting Congressman quoted above, the various stories in reliable media documenting job losses for critics of St Charlie, and the general trends from US government these last 8 months. (And I don’t necessarily think we will at this point, but I think we might. As a gay American, I am worried, though thank the gods I emigrated.) ---

From the texts, his dad was already suspicious and demanding to see a photo of the gun where it is supposed to be before they even released the shooter’s photo. I’m more wondering about whether the government can search through all text messages in a given area for key words. It sounds like they can. ---
