Trump ally and conservative pundit Charlie Kirk shot at Utah event [now reported deceased, same date 10SEP2025]

Is that one of Kash’s conclusions?

Charlie Kirk protected pedophiles? Say it ain’t so!

Maybe?

Stranger things have happened.

True enough. There’s still at least a chance Elroy Patashnik will be back for the Community movie (if it ever happens).

Kirk loved pedrophiles.

Given the extreme misanthropy of the Right and how hard they work at alienating everyone close to them, the odds are good that the typical right winger isn’t loved by anyone else. If such people are right wingers themselves then they don’t love anyone; and if they aren’t they experience constant hostility or worse. Which isn’t conducive to love.

But is conducive to relatives and (former) friends distancing themselves out of self preservation; which of course the right wingers blame on the people fleeing their presence rather than themselves.

Since there is no support for the pedo enablers, the reality is that the ones that are in the wrong side are the ones that supported Kirk. He did talk pretty about letting Trump and the enablers in congress to continue with the coverup. That ongoing coverup is what most people (even Republicans) are not swallowing up.

Moreover, most believe that Trump is fumbling the matter.

Seven in 10 Americans believe that Trump is handling the matter “not well.” This includes pluralities of Trump’s most loyal supporters, 43% of Republicans, 43% of conservatives, and 47% of those who voted for him in 2024.

When we drill down on the 47% of 2024 Trump voters who disapprove of Trump’s handling of the Epstein controversy, we find significant cracks in the MAGA facade. Among members of this group, 28% now disapprove of Trump as president.

Seeing the violence taking place, it is more likely that Kirk’s killer was mostly a disgruntled conservative that did see that retreat, regarding the release of the Epstein files, as one betrayal too many.

Even Charlie (Manson, that is. Swimmin pools, movie stars) got marriage proposals in prison. The world is full of women with low self-esteem that fall in love with murders.

Weird. Most murderers are not attractive. Charlie wasnt but his friend Bobby Beausoleil surely was.

I’m not sure it’s low self esteem so much as, “I can fix him!”

True but the joke was that Kirk was a pedro-phile. And based on this thread, the feeling was certainly mutual

“Sure the guy I am marrying, who murdered all his former wives on their wedding night, dismembered their bodies and made furniture, won’t do that to me!”

I think it’s the the common attraction of women to “bad boys” taken to its logical extreme; you don’t get much more of a bad boy than a murderer.

Dangerously irrational behavior is often just ordinary behavior taken to its extreme. Most women attracted to “bad boys” would draw the line well short of murderers; but with a population of many millions of women it takes only a small percentage of statistical outliers to produce quite a few women who won’t draw that line.

I’d love it if this came out during the trial…

Prosecutor: Why’d you do it?
Accused: Because he was helping Trump cover up the Epstein Files!

If he said that, the jury might even let him off!

I’m glad someone got my lame joke!

I got it too, but I did notice that Pedro is no longer with us, so just going forward…

And noticing here that a cite I made on September 28; that pointed that Turning Point is a right wing organization and that Charlie Kirk promoted Christian Nationalism and attracted racists and bigots, was removed by the very same Anti-Defamation League I cited, just because Musk and the right wingers complained loudly… :man_facepalming:

She Was Fired for a Comment on Her Private Facebook Account: A look at how one state has turbocharged the crackdown on anyone who has criticized Charlie Kirk after his death.

Two days after Charlie Kirk was killed, Suzanne Swierc, an employee at Ball State University in Muncie, Ind., woke up to a cascade of missed calls, texts and voice mail messages from numbers she did not know. “They were calling me all kinds of names, threatening my job,” Ms. Swierc said. “It was every awful curse word under the sun.”…

Ms. Swierc (pronounced swirtz) discovered that the barrage stemmed from something she had posted on Facebook the day before: “If you think Charlie Kirk was a wonderful person, we can’t be friends.” Her Facebook settings were private, but one of her followers must have taken a screen shot and sent it on without her knowledge.

And she was fired. Not glad Kirk was dead, just “If you think Charlie Kirk was a wonderful person, we can’t be friends.” And posted privately.

Crazy.

It’s like they’re incapable of not being hypocrites on every conceivable level. You can’t even reach that level of hypocrisy by chance. They hate “cancel culture” and yet…

As always, IOKWARDI.
