Is the Loomer appearance a signal to Trump’s base that they shouldn’t be upset when Trump has to tilt to the center for the narrow purpose of tonight’s debate? Or am I overthinking? ---

They just went through the rules on msnbc. The moderators can unmute the mic.s if there is confusing cross talk. 90 minute with 2 breaks. Muted mic.s No notes brought in Each person gets note pad, writing instrument, and bottle of water No leaving the stage or talking to staff during breaks Trump won a coin toss and chose to speak last No audience Only the moderators will ask questions 2 minutes to answer question, 2 minutes to respond, 1 minute for rebuttal They will be introduced by moderators and enter from opposite sides incumbent first No opening statements Candidates will not be permitted to ask questions of each other I am starting root beer float prep. ---

Reading Trumps statements through @rocking_chair’s coverage is sort of like looking at Medusa through a reflective shield, second hand exposure is less likely to turn one to stone. Although I do feel sorry for the shield. ---
