As far as Biden goes, yes he should be tested frequently (if he’s not already) but my understanding of COVID is that your risk of infection is related to the viral load you are exposed to. Biden sharing a stage with Trump for two hours from fifteen feet away is likely much less exposure than Trump surrounding himself with family and staff, and nobody wearing masks. ---

True, but people of color seem to have worse outcomes. From what I hear anyway. ---

I will be following where the spread goes from here… Saw Pence is negative at this point in time. Remember though it can take seven plus days to turn positive. ---

It’s going to be an interesting one - there’s a lot of very low-hanging fruit here and I’ve already seen several clip compilations of Trump making fun of masks and the people who wear them followed by news reports of him being infected. Since the Lincoln Project often speaks to him directly, my prediction is that they get someone super manly to tell him that he’s weak for being infected and weak for not taking precautions in the first place. ---

So Pence potentially exposed Monday. Should be quarantined for two weeks. Tested five days out is usually positive by then but only usually. Barrett exposed?? Should also be quarantined two weeks. Does she appear before the Senate virtually? These are strange times. ---

Sure. As long as you’re the president of the United States who gets tested at least once per day, so the infection can be caught within hours, and you get the medical care that the president of the United States gets, you have a good chance of surviving. Not sure this would be a slam dunk take home message. My conspiracy theory leans more toward looking for a way to drop out of the race so that it can never be said that he lost. ---

I don’t believe anything that comes out of Trump’s Whopper hole (either of them) unless and until there’s sufficient independent corroborating evidence. Not there yet. For the time being this “news” is filed next to Schrodinger’s Cat. I could well see it as something he threw out there to watch everyone run after, leaving behind the whole Proud Boy debate debacle. Then he makes an amazing recovery. “The White House doctors. Spectacular, they really took good care of Your President. A few sniffles, that’s all it was. Some people get hit hard. I just got a few sniffles.” Alternatively, if the Cat dies, fingers crossed for Biden. (I’m waiting for the QAnon conspiracy saying Biden is really sick and/or dead, and has been replaced by a Bolshevik child molester cannibal.) ---
