Trump’s approval rating is 36%? That’s ridiculously high. Must be a typo. Maybe a misplaced decimal point. ---

As pointed out in another thread, fully a third of Trump supporters do not believe Donald Trump Jr. had a meeting with Russians. I don’t mean they don’t think the meeting was illegal; I mean they do not believe the meeting occurred. A meeting Donald Trump Jr. has in fact said happened, has described, and has released written evidence of how he planned it. There is a LOT of doublethink going on. Furthermore, the very opinion polls you’re describing are dismissed by Trump supporters as “fake news.” ---
