How did the shooter manage to get a gun into what should have been a rigorously secured area? Are the people who run security for Trump’s rallies so convinced that liberals are unarmed wimps that they’ve become lax? This has got to be determined before more rallies are held for either candidate. Someone either majorly dropped the ball or was complicit. ---

I saw Obama speak in 2008 on a college campus. He was a candidate then. It was on a big open field and there was no screening or really any way to screen anyone. ---

Someone fucked up no doubt. It will be interesting to see what happened. I’ve been involved in three different presidential security details. In one I was partnered with an agent. They are no joke. But they have to be right every minute every day. The bad guy has to be lucky once. Of course at this point we don’t know who got hit with what. We don’t know the angles. Some of the victims may have been caught in the Secret Service crossfire. ---
