It’s a bit of an academic exercise, but: would Trump’s election chances be equally damaged by a photo of him using a _white_ baby to shield himself from gunfire, as compared with a photo of him using a darker-skinned baby to shield himself from gunfire? Personally I don’t think Trump would be bigoted in this regard. He’d simply grab whichever baby was closest. ---
