Pompeo: We all should want–I know you do, too, Senator Kaine–want to make sure to have an election that everyone is confident in.
Kinda like this?

I’ll be surprised. Establishment Republicans know the vote will count. If they push the rigged narrative then more Republican voters will stay home, leading to an even bigger landslide.
McConnell is in a tighter race than expected. If Republicans skip the vote he could actually lose.
Top two for VP:
“The person having the greatest number of votes as Vice-President, shall be the Vice-President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed, and if no person have a majority, then from the two highest numbers on the list, the Senate shall choose the Vice-President”
Let’s not forget the spectacle of Romney’s dog in a carrier strapped to the roof of his car… FOR TWELVE HOURS.
In June 1983, the Romney family left their Belmont, Massachusetts home on their way to Romney’s parents’ cottage in Beach O’Pines, Ontario for an annual vacation along the shore of Lake Huron. Seamus rode in a carrier on the roof of the family’s Chevrolet Caprice station wagon for the 12-hour trip. Romney had built a windshield for the carrier to make the ride more comfortable for the dog. During the 650-mile (1,050 km) trip, Seamus got diarrhea. Romney stopped at a gas station to wash the dog, the carrier and the car. With Seamus back in the carrier, the family continued on their way.
Anarchists like the dude in Minneapolis who started the rioting? Turns out he was an associate of the Aryan Cowboy Brotherhood, a White supremacist prison and street gang based mainly in Minnesota and Kentucky.
Or the white supremacist groups who are trying to start unrest by encouraging people to shoot randomly into crowds who are peacefully protesting?
Yes, I agree that these people are trying to destroy America.
They won’t say “It’s rigged” while people are voting; they’ll say something like “Voter fraud is a concern - the president is right to be concerned about this.”
“The fact that we have a Sec of State - an office once held by Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration - ought to tell you everything.”
I am not sure what this is supposed to mean?
Maybe. They havent caught him, and that whole thing is based upon a anonymous tipster.
I don’t know if this is supposed to be sarcastic or what. But taken at face value, it’s like saying that I stab myself in the eye with a sharp object for 30 minutes every day, because it just feels so wonderful when I stop.
Ha! Stephen Miller took my dare!

Food for thought. Or thoughts for food.
We can only hope this is an unintended side effect.
Republicans other than Trump know that there is no difference between mail-in voting and absentee voting (Trump has to pretend the latter is all right, because he does it) and that voting by mail benefits both parties equally. They can’t indulge this latest nonsense too much without endangering their own GOTV operation and further imperiling their majority.
Hell, I would say it is extremely appropriate since expanded voting rights (especially for minorities) was one of Rep. Lewis’s biggest causes. I’m pretty sure Obama knew Rep. Lewis would want to champion his causes at a time like these, even at his funeral.
Sorry, not clear – the original got swallowed up in a timeout and I rewrote this version in haste.
I meant that the Sec of State is telling a US Senator that the AG will decide whether or not the election goes as scheduled ought to tell you everything. It’s the executive branch asserting power and showing contempt for a democratically elected legislature. This is not just trolling; the executive branch is telling you what it’s thinking about doing, and this thought should be taken very seriously.
Also, the military typically vote absentee, not mail-in (the devil’s method). (Yes, I know they’re the same)
CA has had it for decades, thru several GOP Governors, including Ronald Reagan, a true Republican, who was in favor of it.
Please stop hurting yourself.
Would we expect otherwise?
And overseas voters too… but it gets worse!
While living overseas through several election cycles I was able to vote by email! The horror!
The elections office would email me a ballot. I would mark my selections using MS Paint and print the result to PDF which I emailed back. No paper at all.
When I happened to be stateside for one election (hurricane evacuation) and voted in person the elections officer knew me as that guy from Cayman and was surprised to meet me in person.
Yep, kill the postal service so everyone is forced to use private delivery services which, by the way, aren’t obligated to serve everyone. Sucks to be you if you’re in a non-profitable area. This won’t sink in until after the election so Trumpists won’t realize how screwed they are until it’s too late.
Oh, yeah, I hadn’t thought about that… and a passport will soon be the only alternative to RealID for getting a “valid ID” that allows travel, and the only way to leave the country. Don’t want the peasants moving about freely!
I think that’s at the heat of it. Hell, Trump cried foul about the last election and he won that one!
