I’ve long thought that the idea that Biden is limiting his campaign events is in part because, if you are as far ahead as he is and has been for quite a while, why bother? Anyone can make a gaffe, however unintentional, so why give the other side ammo? I am NOT saying that I ever bought the whole “Biden is hiding in his basement” story, as he has made plenty of speeches, etc. But I think my first comment has some merit, and in the end is smart “campaigning”. ---

Luckily for you, it’s choose your own adjective day. Hatred, contempt, whatever. The point is, the left is more anti-Trump than they are pro-Biden. And that’s okay. If I were voting down there, I’d definitely be picking between the lessor of two shit-shows, and wouldn’t be particularly happy about my candidate no matter if it was Trump or Biden. ---

In some ways both parties hated Trump because he was an outsider and hadnt paid his dues. Biden OTOH, has been in the game all his life and the DNC owed him this. ---
