Trump and his team are making the gamble that by reducing his odds of full recovery and survival, he will improve his odds of winning the Presidency. I do not think I have seen a more cynical bet in American history. ---

They’re the deep state, so I hope they get to stay away from Trump - no meetings. The reporters are at risk also, and have had some cases. I think his cronies would be the ones pressured not to wear masks and act like everything is normal. And note I specified that the non-scum were out of the Cabinet room. ---

I don’t even know if he’s calculating anything at this point; he’s operating purely on instincts and in survival mode. He _has_ to win. If he doesn’t he risks losing everything. The White House is probably a crime scene. ---

If someone would pit me l could. I would have responded earlier but I am at my lake house in the Northwoods and had to use the hot tub for one of the last times before winterizing it.
