I’m not sure that he couldn’t get it. I think if he complained to his personal physician that he needed Adderall, it would be provided no questions asked, and due to HIPAA regulations we’d never know. ---

My mother would say you shouldn’t wish bad things on anyone. I hold that way too many bad things happen to good people, so I rejoice when it happens to truly horrible people. Considering what he’s done to his own country regarding this disease, this is richly-deserved karma. I hope that it’s bad enough that his supporters can no longer believe it is nothing, even if he continues to say so. I don’t want him dead, but man, millions of future schoolchildren are gonna get a HUGE laugh out of this part of history class if he does croak. ---

What bothers me is this nagging pain; **Karl Rove**. There’s some low level crap going on that bugs the hell out of me. We’ve got the “Swiftboating” distraction with the drugs and trying to drag Biden’s son into the discussion when we should be talking about: Health Care Voting Rights Immigration reform Police Reform International relations etc… I smell a rat - hope everyone backs up their sources. No matter how down in the polls he appears, if he gets all the deplorable votes plus juuuust enough swing votes he could potentially win again. He can theoretically win while being up to 5 million popular votes behind. I expressed concern that a combo of fired up base, sympathy bump and voters who forget how bad he is after a few weeks of peace could maybe tip the balance in his favor. I hope to God i’m wrong. ---

About a mile from home this evening, I found myself running a gauntlet of Trump supporters along the roadside, waving their MAGA signs and trying to get people to Honk if They Love Trump (I wasn’t there long, but it appeared the response rate was about 30%, if anyone’s interested). This was about two hours after it had been announced that President Dickhead was being flown to hospital. Ask me how many of these nimrods were wearing masks. Go ahead, ask me. ---
