He’s still not going to run. He’s just upset everybody laughed at him and that he’s been out of the news for a few weeks. ---

That implies a significant number of people would vote for Trump if he ran. I don’t think that would happen. ---

Meh, I don’t think Trump really cares if Obama wins in 2012 or not. He seems to switch his politics every couple years as conveinent. His current Obama-hatred is just a publicity stunt so he could pretend to have a reason to run for Prez and get some free publicity. Actually, I’ll go ahead and make a prediction. If Obama wins in 2012, Trump will make a big show of supporting whatever Obama’s first big policy initiative is post-election. Not because he’ll actually care, but because “Former Obama foe supports President on issue X” will get some headlines for a week or so. ---

But considering that he went from being a moderate independent to throwing in with the crazy teabaggers and birthers, I don’t think he can re-invent himself as a more moderate candidate. ---
