I didn’t even bother turning on the TV today, I just listened to the defense arguments on NPR. But I had to throw in the towel after about half an hour. Are they planning on going the full 16 allotted hours with this BS? ---

Since this trial is going nowhere, and Trump will be acquitted, the lawyers can claim that they “won” the case, thus gaining future business. ---

The Trump lawyer is calling this a _partisan_ impeachment. I can only hope that someone suggests to imagine Biden, no, Hillary or Obama holding the same rally with the same results and picture acquitting them. If a deepfake video of Hillary or Obama riling up the crowd were shown to the ‘jury’ I’m sure there we be a visceral reaction. If there is a different answer about how they would vote based on that difference, then YOU are partisan, not impartial. What was the oath sworn at the start of the trial? > I solemnly swear (or affirm, as the case may be,) that in all things appertaining to the trial of the impeachment of , now pending, I will do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws: so help me God. ---

the defence lawyers are getting way more personal that the managers. the house managers were very careful not to name anyone or even “wink, wink, nudge, nudge” anyone. ---

Now they’re playing longer clips of what Trump said to counter the house managers editing. Except IMHO these videos make him look just as bad. Spewing lies to rile people up. ---

There was some Black radical guy there to film the riots, he isnt antifa or BLM, but he _is_ a leftist. One single lone guy. He was only there to film, but yeah, he trespassed.
